KSLU ANNOUNCES 2010 ANNUAL FUND DRIVEEvent Categories KSLU ANNOUNCES 2010 ANNUAL FUND DRIVE Southeastern Louisiana University’s award winning public radio station, 90.9 KSLU, will host its seventh annual On-Air Spring Fund Drive March 22nd – 26th. Licensed to Southeastern, KSLU is the North Shore’s only public radio station and one of only eight public radio stations statewide. KSLU provides the most diverse music available on the Northshore today, from adult rock & roll and blues to soothing dinner jazz. KSLU features unique programs such as: The Dirt Road Blues Show, The Bluegrass Hour, Dinner Jazz with Zia the Cat, Retro Reality 80’s music and Rock School. KSLU also serves as the voice of Southeastern football, basketball and baseball and is the flagship station of the Lion Sports Radio Network. Lion and Lady Lion games are heard LIVE on 90.9 FM and on the web at www.kslu.org KSLU also broadcasts in high definition permitting listeners to tune in to 90.9 KSLU HD-1, which carries KSLU’s current programming, and 90.9 KSLU HD-2, which is a 24-hour blues-only digital radio station. KSLU partners with various community organizations and assists with public awareness and fundraising campaigns for Child Advocacy Services, March Of Dimes, Options, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Tangipahoa Parish Animal Control, TARC and many others. In addition, KSLU funds the “KSLU Scholarship” which is awarded each fall and spring semester to a current or previous KSLU student employee. Our annual fund drive helps fund the scholarship through the “Add a dollar for a scholar” feature as a donation option. Suggested pledge levels include: Green ($35), Gold ($50), Friend ($100), Family ($150), and Benefactor ($250) donors. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card (Mastercard and Visa).
