Tax Basics for Small Business

This presentation is designed to provide small business owners basic knowledge of federal tax laws. Specifically,
the seminar will highlight tax cuts often overlooked or misunderstood, including GO Zone tax credits and
deductions and energy tax credits. Additionally, the presenter will provide an overview of the different types of
business taxes and how to properly calculate them, as well as, how to classify a worker as an employee or
independent contractor. A summary of new developments and recordkeeping techniques will also be discussed
