15th Annual Hot August Night Even Hotter in Downtown Hammond

For more than a decade, Hot August Night in downtown Hammond has been one of those cool things that many people from across the region, and across the country, like to take part in to beat the August heat.
 
The 15th Annual Hot August Night is scheduled for Friday, August 20, 2010 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the heart of downtown Hammond, Louisiana.
 
Hot August Night 2010 by featuring the Hammond’s Hottest Talent – amateur singing competition finals, the Hot Chef competition and food sampling and the “Hot Spots” – that’s the locations that guests should to visit during the art stroll and wine tasting.

Live music can be heard near the stage in front of La Carreta Mexican Restaurant during the Hammond’s Hottest Talent finals from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. After the contest winner is awarded the $1,000 First Guaranty Bank prize, a Southeastern Louisiana University athletics pep rally will take place, followed by a live band to finish out the evening.
