Hammond’s Biggest Block Party

Back by popular demand Chris Gray takes the stage once again for the final, First Friday – Take It to the Tracks block
party of year. Take It to the Tracks will also feature another round of the Hammond’s Hottest Talent – Amateur Singing Competition, and local, rocker Casey Saba will perform. The community block party starts at 6:00 p.m. and lasts until 10:00 p.m., near the railroad tracks on North Cate Street in Downtown Hammond. The block party is always free and open to the public.

Lawn chairs are welcome! Take It to the Tracks is a family-friendly event. Other features of the community block party
are a Golden Oldies Car Club classic car show, snowballs and an outdoor market with food and drink vendors.

Each month, “Take It to the Tracks” features great live bands, and downtown shops and restaurants will be open late for
the community party – perfect for an evening of shopping and strolling.
