The 54th Annual Christmas Parade is December 1st! The Hammond Christmas Parade is set to roll Saturday, December 1st at 5:00pm! This year’s parade will feature 67 participants, including 5 high school marching bands and the SLU Spirit of the South Marching Band. New to the parade this year are The Battle of the Band and The Golden H Spirit Award competitions—parade-goers are encouraged to vote on their favorite marching band and parade participant via the Hammond Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. Voting will close on Sunday night at midnight and the winners of these two new categories will be announced on Monday morning.
