Melissa Bordelon, President and CEO
A native of Hammond, Bordelon holds a B.A. in communications from Southeastern and a M.B.A. from Mississippi State University. Her past positions include Director of Programs and Events, as well as Memberhship and Events Coordinator with St. Tammany West Chamber of Commerce, Annual Fund Director for Southeastern Louisiana University, Public Relations Partner with Bridges Communication Services, and Director of Southeastern's Lionettes Dance Team.
She is a graduate of Leadership Tangipahoa and Leadership St. Tammany. Currently a member of the Leadership St. Tammany Board of Trustees and a 2015 Northshore's Finest Honoree, she had additionally served on the Board of Directors for the Southeastern Alumni Association, Tangipahoa Area United Way and Citizens for a Clean Tangipahoa. Bordelon is also a proud member of the original New Orleans "Saintsations."
She and her husband Nic have three children who attend Lakeshore High School, LSU and Southeastern.
Julie Perise, Member Relations Director
Julie Perise is a 1990 graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing. She served as Assistant Director with the Southeastern Alumni Association for over ten years. Before joining the Alumni Association, she served as the Coordinator of the Student Government Association at Southeastern. Her professional affiliations have included Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, Council of Alumni Membership & Marketing Professionals, Association of Louisiana Alumni Executives, Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce, and Amite Chamber of Commerce.
Julie has also served as an advisor for her sorority, Phi Mu Fraternity, and received Southeastern’s Faculty Advisor of the Year in 2015 because of her efforts with that organization. She is also an active member of Oak Tree Church in Hammond.
Julie resides in Ponchatoula, Louisiana with her husband, Randy. They have 3 children, Brittany Gabriel, Blair, and Brady.
Megan Mosher, Director of Marketing and Communications
A native of Loranger, Megan graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with her bachelor’s in mass communication in 2010. After working for two years as a reporter at the Hammond Daily Star, she returned to Southeastern as a graduate assistant, where she earned her master’s degree in organizational communication. Megan is not only passionate about her writing, but also about using her writing skills to explore, grow and promote the greater Hammond area and its businesses.
Amy Brumfield, Office Coordinator
Amy is a graduate of Hammond High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. She lives in Hammond with her husband and three children. Amy is very passionate about the vitality of the Hammond community - from eduation to recreation. She has worked for local businesses, state agencies, private corporations and non-profits. She is proud to bring her knowledge and skills to the Greater Hammond Chamber of Commerce.
