Executive Director/Director of Development, HRAC

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR/DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT, HRAC

The Executive Director (ED)/Director of Development -- the principal administrator of the Hammond Regional Arts Center (HRAC) -- has as his/her primary focus fund-raising, program development, and functioning as the public face of HRAC. He/she, assisted by an office manager, carries out day-to-day administrative duties; coordinates gallery exhibitions and related activities; coordinates publicity; and manages staff and volunteers. Education and/or experience: Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or two to four years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fund-raising/development experience is particularly desirable. The position is part-time (20 hours per week), the salary $20,000 (supplementable by a proportion of the ED’s fund-raising effort).
